So, you may be wondering "what's all this then?" Well, let me explain. I sir/madam am an AFOL (Adult Fan Of LEGO). I am 30 something years old and I still build with and play with LEGO bricks! Why you ask? Why the heck not!?

I came out of, what we AFOLs like to call, my "dark ages" a few years ago. Until now I have had zero room to build anything on a grand scale. I then went through a second semi-dark ages and came back to the fold right around the release of the Series 3 Minifigures. Now I have a room dedicated to my toys and I'm going to build a LEGO city...IN SPACE! Space has to be the best LEGO theme ever. You can tie it in with just about every other theme! Western? Space-Cowboys! Castle? Time Travel!? Ninjago (whatever that means)? Space-Ninjas! Pirates? Space-Pirates! See how that works! You just slap the word "space" on there and it's instantly sci-fi! Even Chima can be tied into the Space theme (Space Chimps!).
